has gone into the heart of it's cross-country rival and uncovered a wide variety of things to do in their article "36 Hours in Downtown Los Angeles".In a day and a half, they take you through art galleries, food, drink, fashion, architecture and a variety of entertainment. You'll need a vacation to recover!

The NY times article is really om point when it comes to cool things to do here. My favorite is going to Little Tokyo; lots of cool and unique places to eat there.
