2011 Major League Baseball (MLB) Stadiums

Visit our 2012 MLB and MiLB map for the latest ballpark locations and info.

Take me out to the ball game, take me out with the crowd;

2011 is the 111th season for Major League Baseball (MLB), and while the season officially starts Friday April 1st, some games are being played today.

Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack, I don't care if I never get back.

You may have already been watching your favorite team during spring training.

Let me root, root, root for the home team, if they don't win, it's a shame.

There are 30 MLB teams residing in 18 U.S. states and one Canadian province.

For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out, at the old ball game.

You can buy tickets at MLB.com, and there are a number of ticket resellers like TicketsNow, TicketNetwork, Razorgator, TicketSolutions, Select-a-ticket, TicketFeeder and more.

There is a lot of new technology that is going into stadiums these days, and Wired.com looks at some of the most interesting in their article called "Fields of Dreams: Ballparks Unveil Tech Upgrades".

If you have an iPad or iPhone, you have lots of options for keeping track of your favorite team and live scores:

MLB.com MLB.com | FOX Sports Interactive FOX Sports Interactive | CBS Interactive CBS Interactive | SportsTap SportsTap | Quizner's Quizner's | Citizen Sports, Inc. Citizen Sports, Inc.

And if you're interested in Fantasy Baseball, there's an app for that too:

ESPN ESPN | Yahoo! Yahoo! | Bignoggins Productions LLC Bignoggins Productions LLC |
Citizen Sports, Inc. Citizen Sports, Inc. | Bloomberg LP Bloomberg LP | Roto Sports, Inc. Roto Sports, Inc.

Don't forget too that minor league games can be just as fun, and in addition to being less expensive, it's easier to get much closer to the action. Batter up!

Update June 3, 2011 - Ben Blatt used linear programming to determine "The Shortest Possible Baseball Road Trip" to visit each of the 30 MLB stadiums.
