Budget Travel magazine has announced their list of "15 Places Your Kids Should See Before 15", which is a follow-up to their 2007 article called "15 Places Every Kid Should See".Seven of the top 15 places are National Parks, so you may want to consider the "America the Beautiful – National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass" annual pass from NPS.gov for $80.
